D. Scott Minton has been with the Housing Opportunities Commission for eleven years.
He has served as the Assistant Director of Finance, Internal Auditor, and Deputy Executive
Director. Mr. Minton was appointed Acting Executive Director on March 21, 2000 and was in effect during the Executive Director’s
leave of absence. Subsequently, Mr. Minton was appointed Executive Director on
July 3, 2000.
Prior to joining HOC, Mr. Minton served 20 years as an officer in the U.S. Navy retiring in 1989.
His career in the Navy included duty on submarines and staff tours in logistics. He has a B.A. Degree in Political Science
from the University of Louisville, a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Strayer University, and an MBA from Webster University in
St. Louis.
