DESCRIPTION
& MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position is responsible for the supervision
and direction of staff who engage in a variety of customer support and
administrative functions. Will plan
and manage the daily organizational structure of the work unit in a
productive and efficient manner. Will
be responsible for scheduling, managing and addressing the needs of staff to
manage telephone, mail, scanning, CRM and
certification procedures. This
position will make HCV and PH eligibility and vacancy decisions and is
responsible for the management of the client certification procedures. Must establish and maintain work standards
and coordinate work assignments and work to expand and develop staff
capabilities. Will provide technical advice, support, and
serve as back-up to the Center Director or Assistant Division Director. Will make certain that operations are in
HUD program compliance and is responsible for on-site quality control of a
work team. Requires
graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in
Social Sciences, Business Admin. or related field and
a min. of two years of progressive experience in subsidized housing and four years
of supervisory experience, including working within a union environment. Extensive knowledge of Federal, State and
local laws and regulations pertaining to subsidized housing programs
needed. Must have the ability to communicate
well and to speak effectively in public.
Good computer skills. Excellent
interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people of varied
backgrounds. An equivalent combination of education and experience may
be accepted. Low income residents
in HOC
conducts criminal background checks, employment reference checks and, where
applicable, reviews driving records in determining suitability for
employment. Selected applicants will
be required to submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Employment is contingent upon drug and
alcohol test results. |
