POSITION TITLE:

Program Assistant I

East Deer Park Office, Gaithersburg

 

DESCRIPTION & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position is responsible for providing administrative support to Scattered Site Maintenance operations.   Respond to telephone requests from HOC clients, track maintenance requests and coordinate the completion of work orders with maintenance staff and contractors.    Will be responsible for entering data into computer work order system and generating billings for resident charges.

 

Requires high school or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years administrative or clerical experience.    Must have good organizational and interpersonal skills; knowledge of business English and grammar; and basic understanding of property management and maintenance systems.   Strong data entry, word processing and database management skills necessary.

 

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

 

HOC conducts criminal background checks, employment reference checks and, where applicable, reviews driving records in determining suitability for employment.  Selected applicants will be required to submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.  Employment is contingent upon drug and alcohol test results.
