POSITION TITLE:

Community Case Aide

Resident Services, Kensington, MD

 

DESCRIPTION & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position is responsible for assisting participants of the Supportive Housing Program with shopping, housekeeping and food/nutrition.  Will provide or assist participants with transportation, locating and moving to new units, job coaching.  Will distribute information, newsletters and customer satisfaction surveys.  Will provide training and role model for child rearing.

 

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year experience working with the disabled or at-risk populations, AA degree a plus.  Must have good oral and written communication skills and demonstrated computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and excellent interpersonal skills.  Must have a car, a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

 

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.    Low income residents in Montgomery County with the above qualifications are encouraged to apply.

 

This is a full time term position with benefits.  Funding has been continuous.
