What organization is collecting the
information: |

HOC is
the only organization that is collecting information from you when you
visit the Website. This will only be done when you have elected to
authorize permission for the use of information that you provide.
Because visitors to our Website are important, we do not capture
personal information about them without permission. We try to collect
only the minimum amount of information needed to meet the purpose for
which the system was created. Though personal information may be
required either by law or in order for us to provide a requested
service, in doing so we are subject to laws that protect you. HOC will
comply with requirements for administering information systems as
established in the Maryland Public Information Act (PIA) Title 10,
Subtitle 6, Part III of the State Government Article. This Article
grants the public a broad right of access to records that are in the
possession of State and local government agencies. |

How the information is used:

Use,
collection, and retention of customer information at the HOC's website
is considered confidential and will not be shared for marketing
purposes. For each visitor, we do collect information about the
Internet Protocol (IP) address, type browser used, the date and time
of the visit, and the IP addresses of the locations to which the
visitor linked during his or her visit to our website. This
information is strictly used for statistical reporting purposes. We
only collect, retain and use personal information where we believe it
is essential (and allowed by law) to administer our business and to
provide products, services and other opportunities requested by our
customers. |

maintains security standards and procedures regarding unauthorized
access to customer information to prevent unauthorized removal or
alteration of data. We are dedicated to the right of your privacy and
data security on the Web. We will take every prudent and practical

its users with a secure online experience by using a variety of
security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information.
All user registration information is contained behind a "firewall" and
only accessible by a limited number of employees who have special
access rights to production systems. |

be given the option to register a user name and password. The user
name and password are needed to authenticate to the HOC Website. This
user name and password along with a unique identifier will serve to
prove your identity to HOC. The user name, password, and unique
identifier will be considered a "valid" and legally binding
"electronic signature", in compliance with the State of Maryland
Uniform Computer Electronic Transactions Act, for all transactions
conducted with HOC. A user must contact HOC immediately if they
believe their information has been corrupted, misused, or incorrect.
It is the responsibility of the user to ensure all information is

HOC has
established procedures to ensure that information is as accurate and
current as is practical to enable us to conduct business with you.
Although we strive to do things right the first time, we also respond
to requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner.

Our
network manager is instructed to limit employee access to personally
identifiable information to only those employees who need access in
order to perform their assigned duties. The network manager is
instructed to enforce with its staff responsibilities in protecting
user's information. |
