A Home Ownership Program For HOC Residents

 
HOC/HOP is a program designed to assist HOC residents in becoming financially prepared to purchase a home in Montgomery County. (A HOC resident is someone who participates in a HOC program and/or lives in a property owned or managed by HOC)
 

What Does the HOC/HOP Program Offer:

 
The HOC/HOP Program offers
  • Below market interest rates
  • New MPDU units to be purchased by qualified HOC residents through random lottery drawings
  • Homeownership Seminars conducted by HOC, bi-annually (Spring and Fall)
  • A homebuying education Certificate of Completion (HOC is a HUD approved Homebuying counselor, another source is Housing Community Initiative www.HCII.org)
  • A Homeownership Specialist to work with you to help you achieve your dream of owning a home call (240) 627-9598.
  • Closing Cost Assistance
  • 3% and 5% Down payment
  • FHA Loans
