Housing Opportunities Commission Homeownership Program (HOC/HOP)
Who Should Apply for this Program:

- A HOC resident who is committed to purchasing a home
- A HOC resident who earns $35,000 or more annually
- A HOC resident who will attend the FREE homebuying seminars offered by HOC, HCII, or any HUD approved counseling agency
- A HOC resident who has completed an application and returned it to the Homeownership Specialist along with your credit report, W-2, Tax Returns and recent pay-stubs (Letter and Application | Spanish Letter and Application )
Once you have submitted your application:

- The Homeownership Specialist will review your application and credit report to determine what course of action should be taken to help you become a homeowner
- Approximately three to four weeks after receipt of your application, a letter will be sent directly to you outlining your next step
