HOC/HOP and HALF Program

Housing Opportunities Commission Homeownership Program

 

Who Should Apply for this Program
  • A HOC resident who is committed to purchasing a home
  • A HOC resident who earns $24,000 or more annually
  • A HOC resident who will attend the FREE homebuying seminars offered by HOC, HCII, or any HUD approved counseling agency
  • A HOC resident who has completed an application and returned it to the Homeownership Specialist along with your credit report, W-2, Tax Returns and recent pay-stubs (Letter and Application)

Once you have submitted your application:

  • The Homeownership Specialist will review your application and credit report to determine what course of action should be taken to help you become a homeowner
  • Approximately three to four weeks after receipt of your application, a letter will be sent directly to you outlining your next step.
