Job Search
Finding a good job is not an easy task. On average, it takes three
months to find a job; in some cases it may take up to six months.
The average job seeker only spends about fifteen hours a week
looking for a job – not enough to become re-employed quickly. It
also helps to be well organized; it makes your job search more
efficient and keeps you on top of things.
When searching for a job keep in mind that most jobs are not
formally announced. Employers without a formal opening may hire
someone if they like the person and see the need for the person’s
skills. That means: besides looking in the newspaper and on the
internet, you have to network, network, network!
