A resume is a tool that helps you get an interview. It is a summary of your education and relevant professional experience and skills. The appearance and format of your resume are important but you also have to pay attention to the content. In general, a resume should be concise, easy to understand, and organized logically; in most cases it should be only one page in length.

Types of resumes

  • Chronological resume

  • Skills or functional resume
    Your experience is organized under key skills.

  • Combination resume
    Includes elements of both, the chronological and skills formats. It allows you to use resume features that fit you best.
