Salary Commensurate with Experience

This position is in the office five days per week supporting the McKinney Permanent Supportive Housing Program and the Resident Services Division (as needed). Duties include but not limited to the following; scan all client documents into electronic filing system, monthly in coming/outgoing mailings, update program EXCEL spreadsheets, third party income verifications, submit monthly utility invoices for payment and manage all utility issues for client billing, manage Smart Trip benefits for clients, submit purchase orders for unit support, order supplies for unit, review client paperwork for completeness, assist with audits as needed, support field staff when they are in the field, provide front desk coverage weekly as assigned and other duties as assigned.

This is a Full-Time One Year Term Position, job continuation is based on funding.

Preferred Skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires a minimum of two years of secretarial/clerical experience in an office environment.
• Strong knowledge of word processing programs; Google Suite, Word, Excel.
• Typing skills: 50 wpm.
• Must have knowledge of standard office procedures and good record keeping skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, and exercise good judgement in dealing with people.
• Must be courteous and have the ability to tactfully interact with the public.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply the fundamentals of, Business English, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Knowledge of subsidized housing programs a plus.
