Join the HOC Volunteer Corps to Make a Difference

Volunteering to help others does more than just benefit the recipient. Volunteers say that donating their time and energy in service to others is good for their mind and body and promotes personal growth.

As a member of the HOC Volunteer Corps, you will have the opportunity to interact with youth, adult and senior residents of our communities in a variety of programs focused on education, the arts, wellness, career advancement and more.

The first step to joining the HOC Volunteer Corps is to submit a Volunteer Application and Background Check form (18 years and older). You may use the online Google Form or the printable forms below. If you opt to use the printable version, the completed forms must be emailed to VolunteerCorps@hocmc.org. Please allow 2–3 weeks for the background screening process to be completed.

For youth aged 11–17 years, a parent/guardian must complete the application on their behalf. Please be sure to list the youth as the volunteer applicant. If approved, all volunteers are required to complete an online orientation before they begin their important work as an HOC Volunteer Corps Member.

Note: Montgomery County youth are eligible to earn Student Service Learning hours by volunteering with HOC.

Please email any questions or concerns to VolunteerCorps@hocmc.org.
