Notice of Public Hearing Concerning Issuance of Bonds or Other Obligations to Finance Residential Housing Projects

Notice is hereby given that the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County will conduct a Public Hearing on Friday, July 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at 1328 Fenwick Lane, Silver Spring, MD 20910 concerning the issuance of one or more series of the Commission’s single family mortgage revenue bonds pursuant to a plan of financing in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $30,000,000.00 to provide funds to the Commission (i) to make or purchase mortgage loans made to eligible persons and families for single family residences located in Montgomery County, MD, (ii) to refund and redeem previously issued single family mortgage revenue bonds and (iii) to preserve the availability of funds to the Commission to make or purchase mortgage loans made to eligible persons and families for single family residences located in Montgomery County, MD.

All interested parties are invited to submit written comments or present oral comments at the Public Hearing regarding the bond issuance. Oral comments may be given during the hearing. Oral comments will be limited to presentations of no more than five (5) minutes per person. Written comments should be received by HOC on or before 1:00 p.m. on July 16, 2026, and should be submitted to Vivian Benjamin, 1328 Fenwick Lane, Silver Spring, MD 20910 or vivian.benjamin@hocmc.org.
