Do you need know how to find and navigate available resources? Resident Services will host monthly resource sharing sessions monthly. This is an opportunity for participants to learn about available resources in Montgomery County and at HOC to include food resources, wellness, financial assistance resources for emergencies, employment, tuition assistance, etc. The sessions are offered on the third Tuesday of each month in the evening. Staff will provide information on how to navigate services. This will also provide a space for participants to inquire about their resource needs. In addition, this will be an opportunity for participants to learn about the services offered by the Resident Services Division. You must register online to participate. Registered participants will receive virtual instructions.

This interactive workshop focuses on the agency’s mission in keeping residents housed in the various housing programs that the Housing Opportunities Commission offers. The workshop attempts to empower participants with information that will assist them in being successful with housing, combining effective strategies and information on available resources that can help a resident to successfully maintain his/her housing. Participants will develop a better understanding of his/her housing program, guidelines and the rights & responsibilities outlined in a lease. You must register online to participate.
