Come celebrate with us at a lively back-to-school event where we'll hand out backpacks and school supplies to our youth. Savor delicious food, play games, dance to music, and discover helpful resources and surprises! Hosted by HOC, in partnership with the Street Outreach Network.
Join us for our 4th Annual STEM Back-to-School Festival, a fun-filled community event designed to inspire students and families as they prepare for a successful school year! This exciting festival brings together hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) activities, interactive demonstrations, educational exhibitors, and community partners. In addition to STEM experiences, families can enjoy entertainment, games, food and backpack giveaways.
HOC, in cooperation with Emmanuel Brinklow Church and The Living Legends Awards for Service to Humanity, will be distributing food for 20 residents. The distribution will be held on a first-come, first-served basis in front of the leasing office parking lot. Please note: the distribution is based on the availability of food, and is limited to residents of Tanglewood Apartments.
Residents will travel to Washington, DC to board a cruise ship, where they'll enjoy a three-course plated menu, music, dancing and stunning scenic views along the Potomac River.
