Kelli D. Dickerson serves as Vice President of Asset Management for the Housing Opportunities Commission. In that capacity, Ms. Dickerson leads the team of asset managers responsible for maximizing the fiscal and financial performance of the Commission’s multifamily and scattered site properties.
Ms. Dickerson determines the appropriate operational and financing strategies of HOC-owned real estate and recommends actions, based on those strategies, to maximize HOC and investor returns and values. As part of the Executive Staff team reporting to the president, the director of Asset Management works closely with the director of Property Management to facilitate short- and long-term plans for each of HOC’s assets.
In her 30 year real estate career she has been deeply committed to fostering inclusive and sustainable properties to serve the public. Prior to joining HOC, Ms. Dickerson served as a principal at BGO, a leading real estate investment management advisor, real estate lender and a globally-recognized provider of real estate services. She was responsible for approximately $2.1 billion during her tenure across all asset classes, with a focus on maximizing performance and long-term value through innovative, mutually beneficial approaches.
Ms. Dickerson earned a Masters of Public Administration from the University of North Texas during which time she worked in local government with a focus on sustainability. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in communication and business from Southern Methodist University.
