This interactive workshop focuses on the agency’s mission in keeping residents housed in the various housing programs that the Housing Opportunities Commission has to offer. The workshop attempts to empower participants with information that will assist them in being successful with housing. The workshop combines effective strategies and information on available resources that can help a resident to successfully maintain his/her housing. Participants will develop a better understanding of his/her housing program and guidelines and the rights and responsibilities outlined in a lease. Must register online to participate. Staff will provide information on how to navigate services. This will also provide a space for participants to inquire about their resource needs. In addition, this will be an opportunity for participants to learn about the services offered by the Resident Services Division. Must register online to participate.
